INAGURASYON AT SEREMONYA NG PAGSASALIN NG SUPER HEALTH CENTER SA STO. NIÑO, MATAGUMPAY NA NAIDAOS || 5 Abril 2025

SANTO NIÑO, CAGAYAN — Pormal nang binuksan ang Santo Niño Super Health Center sa isang makabuluhang Inagurasyon at Turn-Over Ceremony na pinangunahan ni Senador Bong Go, Chair ng Senate Committee on Health. Sa kanyang talumpati, nagpaabot siya ng taos-pusong pasasalamat at pagpupugay sa mga healthcare workers, kasabay ng kanyang pangakong ipagpapatuloy ang pagsusulong ng mga programang pangkalusugan para sa mamamayan.

Mainit naman siyang sinalubong ni Mayor Atty. Vicente G. Pagurayan, na nagpahayag ng taos-pusong pasasalamat sa inisyatibong ito. Aniya, malaking ginhawa ito para sa mga taga-Santo Niño, na hindi na kailangang bumiyahe ng malayo para sa serbisyong medikal, lalo na sa oras ng pangangailangan.

Dinaluhan din ang aktibidad ng mga opisyal ng bayan, mga barangay leaders, at mga healthcare workers na siyang magiging katuwang sa pagbibigay ng serbisyong medikal sa komunidad.

Ang pagbubukas ng Super Health Center ay isang malaking hakbang patungo sa mas malawak, abot-kaya, at dekalidad na serbisyong pangkalusugan para sa lahat ng ating mga kababayan.

SANTO NIÑO, CAGAYAN – Isinagawa ngayong araw ang orientation para sa Project LAWA, kung saan 500 benepisyaryo mula sa mga barangay ng Centro Sur, Centro Norte, Mabitbitnong, Lubo, Niug Norte, Nag-Uma, Sidiran, Lattac, at Tabang ang nakibahagi.

Layunin ng Project LAWA na matulungan at maprotektahan ang mahihirap at bulnerableng komunidad mula sa epekto ng unti-unting pagdating ng El Niño sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ng pangmatagalang mapagkukunan ng tubig at magbibigay ng karagdagang kita para sa mga benepisyaryo.

Binibigyang-diin ni Municipal Mayor Atty. Vicente G. Pagurayan na prayoridad ng Lokal na Pamahalaan ang ganitong uri ng programa na makakatulong sa pagpapabuti ng buhay ng mamamayan, lalo na sa panahon ng matinding hamon sa klima.

Dumalo rin sa orientation ang Municipal Vice Mayor at mga kagawad ng Sangguniang Bayan bilang pagpapakita ng suporta ng pamahalaang lokal sa proyektong ito.

The Municipal Government of Santo Niño, under the leadership of Hon. Mayor Vicente G. Pagurayan and Hon. Vice Mayor Andrew Vincent R. Pagurayan, conducted the qualifying examination for aspiring beneficiaries of the Financial Assistance for College Education (FACE) and Students Top Achievers Rewards System (STARS) programs today. Alongside the exam, educational assistance was also distributed to current student beneficiaries held at the SNHS Gymnasium.

The FACE and STARS programs are designed to support students in their academic journey by providing financial aid and recognizing outstanding academic performance. By investing in education, the local government continues to uphold its commitment to empowering the youth and shaping a brighter future for Santo Niño.

During the event, Hon. Vice Mayor AV Roxas Pagurayan delivered an inspirational message, encouraging students to aim high, persevere, and never settle for less. He emphasized that education is a powerful tool for success and personal growth, urging students to maximize the opportunities given to them.

Santo Niño, Cagayan – Pinangunahan ng Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) ang pamamahagi ng food packs sa 120 benepisyaryo ng Project LAWA (Local Adaptation to Water Access) sa ilalim ng Food-for-Work Program ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

Ang naturang programa ay naglalayong bigyan ng tulong ang mga indibidwal at pamilya kapalit ng kanilang aktibong pakikilahok sa iba’t ibang community work at livelihood activities. Sa pamamagitan nito, natutulungan ang mga mamamayan na magkaroon ng pansamantalang kabuhayan habang tumatanggap ng pangunahing pangangailangan gaya ng pagkain.

Nagpasalamat ang mga benepisyaryo sa suportang ibinigay ng MSWDO at DSWD, na patuloy na nagsusulong ng mga programang makakatulong sa mga nangangailangan sa komunidad. Patuloy rin ang panawagan ng lokal na pamahalaan para sa mas maraming inisyatiba na magbibigay ng oportunidad para sa mga mamamayan ng Santo Niño.

Santo Niño, Cagayan – In line with the celebration of Women’s Month, the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), in collaboration with the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), conducted a symposium focusing on the protection of women and children.

The symposium highlighted two crucial topics: Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) and Republic Act 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004. Experts from the PNP and MSWDO discussed the dangers of online exploitation, ways to prevent abuse, and the legal rights and protections available for women and children under RA 9262.

The event aimed to raise awareness among parents, guardians, and beneficiaries of 4Ps on the importance of safeguarding children against online threats and promoting a violence-free environment for women. Participants were encouraged to report any form of abuse and to seek support from the authorities if needed.

The local government of Santo Niño reaffirmed its commitment to upholding the rights and welfare of women and children, ensuring that they are protected from all forms of violence and exploitation.

Opisyal na binisita ni Provincial Fire Marshal – Cagayan Province, ROYGBIV L RUGAYAN FSSUPT (DSC) BFP, kasama ang mga personnel ng Bureau of Fire Protection mula sa Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal – Cagayan (BFP R2 Cagayan Provincial Office), ang ating mahal na Municipal Mayor, Atty. Vicente G. Pagurayan, sa kanyang opisina. Ang layunin ng pagbisitang ito ay para sa pormal na pakikipag-ugnayan at talakayin ang kanilang mga planong aktibidad para ngayong selebrasyon ng Fire Prevention Month.

Isa sa mga pangunahing plano nila ay ang pagsasagawa ng isang Medical Mission sa isang barangay dito sa ating bayan. Ang inisyatibang ito ay naglalayong higit na mapalawak ang kaalaman ng publiko tungkol sa pag-iwas sa sunog, kasabay ng pagbibigay ng mahahalagang serbisyong pangkalusugan sa ating mga residente.

Hinihikayat ng Bureau of Fire Protection na makipagtulungan sa ating lokal na pamahalaan upang maipatupad ang planong ito, na naglalayong ipabatid ang kahalagahan ng pagiging maagap hindi lamang sa pagtugon sa mga pangangailangang medikal kundi pati na rin sa paglikha ng mas ligtas na komunidad.

Umaasa tayo na ang misyong medikal na ito ay makatutulong hindi lamang sa pagpapabuti ng kalusugan ng ating mga kababayan kundi pati na rin sa pagpapalalim ng kanilang pang-unawa tungkol sa kahalagahan ng kaligtasan mula sa sunog.

Ang ating lokal na pamahalaan ay lubos na nagpapasalamat sa BFP sa kanilang malasakit at determinasyon na maghandog ng ganitong klaseng serbisyo sa ating komunidad. Nawa’y higit pang tumibay ang ating pagtutulungan para sa mas ligtas at mas malusog na bayan.
