The Philippine Statistics Authority – Regional Statistical Services Office II (PSA-RSSO II) has successfully conducted a random check and audit of our Local Civil Registry Office today. This activity, spearheaded by Registration Officer II Imelda M. Abad and Statistical Specialist II Catherin S. Pauig, was performed in accordance with Section 11 of Republic Act No. 11625, which outlines the inspection and visitorial powers of the Civil Registrar General (CRG).

This initiative is part of the CRG’s mandate to enhance the delivery of civil registration services by evaluating compliance with existing laws, verifying the maintenance of documents, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of records, identifying areas for improvement, and promoting transparency and accountability.

The PSA-RSSO II team commended the Local Civil Registrar’s performance and praised the organization and management of the office and its documents. This recognition reflects the dedicated efforts of our Municipal Civil Registrar, Engr. Haydee P. Catolos, and the exemplary leadership of our Municipal Mayor, Atty. Vicente G. Pagurayan.

In a solemn ceremony held yesterday, Reyman U. Villoria, the 1st Kagawad of Barangay Campo, officially assumed the position of Punong Barangay. This transition comes as a result of the untimely passing of Punong Barangay Arnold D. Fidel (+).

The oath-taking ceremony was officiated by Municipal Mayor Atty. Vicente G. Pagurayan at the Office of the Municipal Mayor. Villoria, who steps into this leadership role through succession, expressed his commitment to upholding the duties and responsibilities of the office with integrity and dedication.

The municipality acknowledges the significant contributions of the late PB Fidel and extends its deepest condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

This morning, the “1st Quarter CY 2025 Multi-Sectoral Meeting cum SGLG Utilization Conference,” headed by Mayor Atty. Vincent G. Let’s go. Such gathering was started with a formal opening, which was presided over by Engr. Dennis I. Piñera, MPDC recognition of attendees and quorum identification. Mayor Pagurayan also spoke to give a message to everyone present after the quorum was declared.

Presented by Jasmin T. Balisi, MLGOO, the results of SGLG 2024 Everyone was delighted to see our town recognized as the SGLG 2024 awardee and also discussed potential indicators for 2025.

The meeting discussed the current situation of peace and order, as well as important updates on the anti-illegal drugs campaign presented by the PNP Sto. Niño. Gave updates about fire prevention and accomplishments of BFP Sto. Niño.

Various councils including MDRRMC, MESWMB, LHB & MNC, LCPC and LCAT-VAWC also shared important updates to improve service to our countrymen.

This gathering is a significant step for the continued development and safety of our community.

The LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT OF SANTO NIÑO, thru the leadership of Hon. Mayor Atty. Vicente G. Pagurayan and Hon. Vice-Mayor Andrew Vincent R. Pagurayan, conducted the first round of BLOODLETTING ACTIVITY for CY 2025.

This activity was initiated and organized by the Santo Niño Municipal Health Office, headed by Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Ethel P. Simeon, in collaboration with the Cagayan Valley Medical Center (CVMC) Blood Bank. It was held last February 13, 2025, at the municipal gymnasium, with a total of 111 successful donors.

We are grateful to all participants for their heartfelt indulgence. Thank you for your selfless gift of blood. Your donation will not only provide vital support but will also be a beacon of hope for countless individuals specially Fairenians. Your generosity helps save lives, and we are immensely delighted for your participation and contribution.

Isang matagumpay na Medical Mission ang isinagawa ng Rotary Club of Tuguegarao Rainbow kasama ang Cheongju Leaders Rotary Club mula sa South Korea noong nakaraang Biyernes sa Municipal Gymnasium. Ang aktibidad na ito ay bahagi ng Joint International Volunteer Service na naglalayong maghandog ng iba’t ibang uri ng serbisyo sa ating mga kababayan.

Kasabay ng medical mission, nagkaroon din ng libreng Hair Grooming at Manicure Services, pati na rin isang Korean Clothing Bazaar. Namahagi rin ng mga regalo para sa mga bata kung saan ang kasayahan at kasiglahan ng munting Sto. Niño’ans ay kitang-kita sa kanilang mga ngiti.

Lubos na pasasalamat kay Sir Christ Vincent Pagurayan, anak ng ating mahal na Mayor Vicente Pagurayan at kapatid ng ating Vice Mayor AV Roxas Pagurayan, sa pagbibigay ng pagkakataong ito siya ay bahagi ng Rotary Club of Tuguegarao, tunay ngang nasasalamin ng kanilang pamilya ang dugong tumutulong at nagseserbisyo publiko. Maghapon silang naglingkod ng may ngiti sa kanilang mga labi, dala ang dedikasyon para sa ikabubuti ng ating mga kababayan.

Nagpaabot din ng pasasalamat ang ating Vice Mayor AV Pagurayan sa mga bisita natin para sa kanilang serbisyo.

Karangalan po para sa aming mga taga-Sto. Niño na magkaroon ng ganitong gawain sa aming munisipalidad. Kami ay taus-pusong nagpapasalamat sa kanilang tulong at kasipagan, at sa pagbibigay saya sa aming mga kababayan sa buong araw ng aktibidad.

Muli, maraming salamat sa lahat ng nakibahagi at naglaan ng oras para sa ikabubuti ng ating komunidad. Mabuhay ang Rotary Club of Tuguegarao Rainbow at ang Cheongju Leaders Rotary Club!

Matagumpay na naisagawa ang Mass Oath Taking Ceremony para sa mga bagong talagang kawani ng Lokal na Pamahalaan. Kasabay nito, ginanap din ang isang espesyal na programa bilang paalam at pasasalamat para sa mga retiradong kawani na naging haligi ng serbisyo publiko.

Pinangunahan ng ating Mahal na Alkade Atty. Vicente G. Pagurayan ang seremonya, kung saan ipinahayag ang pasasalamat at pagkilala sa mga nagretiro dahil sa kanilang walang sawang dedikasyon at kontribusyon sa pag-unlad ng institusyon. Sa mensahe ng pagpupugay, binigyang-diin ang kahalagahan ng pagtitiyaga, integridad, at patuloy na paglilingkod bilang inspirasyon para sa mga bagong maglilingkod.

Ang matagumpay na programa ay nagpamalas ng diwa ng pagkakaisa at responsibilidad sa paghahatid ng serbisyong pampubliko, at nagsilbing paalala na bawat henerasyon ay may mahalagang papel sa pagpapaunlad ng ating komunidad.
