The Philippine Statistics Authority – Regional Statistical Services Office II (PSA-RSSO II) has successfully conducted a random check and audit of our Local Civil Registry Office today. This activity, spearheaded by Registration Officer II Imelda M. Abad and Statistical Specialist II Catherin S. Pauig, was performed in accordance with Section 11 of Republic Act No. 11625, which outlines the inspection and visitorial powers of the Civil Registrar General (CRG).
This initiative is part of the CRG’s mandate to enhance the delivery of civil registration services by evaluating compliance with existing laws, verifying the maintenance of documents, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of records, identifying areas for improvement, and promoting transparency and accountability.
The PSA-RSSO II team commended the Local Civil Registrar’s performance and praised the organization and management of the office and its documents. This recognition reflects the dedicated efforts of our Municipal Civil Registrar, Engr. Haydee P. Catolos, and the exemplary leadership of our Municipal Mayor, Atty. Vicente G. Pagurayan.
