The Department of Labor and Employment facilitated the payout of Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa ating Disadvantaged/ Displaced (TUPAD) Workers to 99 Beneficiaries from different barangays of Sto. Niño in cooperation with the Municipal Goverment of Sto. Nino, Cagayan. through the leadership of our Mayor Atty. Vicente Pagurayan and Vice Mayor Andrew Vincent Pagurayan.
Present during the said activity were DOLE Regional Director Jesus Elpidio B. Atal Jr. and Provincial Director Laura B. Diciano who manifested to continue grant such program and opportunity for the people of Santo Niño.
Municipal Vice Mayor AV Roxas Pagurayan also extended his gratitude to the Department of Labor and Employment on behalf of the people of Sto. Niño for always considering our municipality in such program. The LGU is committed to fully support such program which aims to provide income opportunities for our constituents.
TUPAD is a community-based package of assistance that provides emergency employment for displaced workers, underemployed and seasonal workers.
