The Honorable Mayor Atty. Vicente G. Pagurayan spearheaded the Launching of Project Local Adaptation to Water Access (LAWA) and Breaking Insufficiency through Nimutritious Harvest (BINHI) through Cash-for-Work Training at Barangays Calassitan, Abariongan Uneg, Abariongan Ruar and Calapangan.
The project aims to mitigate the impact of El Niño through cash-for-training and cash-for-work. The target beficiaries include families of farmers, fosherfolks, indigenous peoples (IPs), and other climate and disaster-vulnerable families identified as poor or upon assessment and validation of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office.
