The Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC) in coordination with the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist distributed Indemnity Claim Checks to corn farmers affected by drought caused by long dry spell and also damage caused by Fall Army Worm (FAW) infestations.
Farmers who were affected received their indemnity checks last August 15 and August 16, 2024. Our beloved Vice Mayor, Hon. AV Roxas Pagurayan attended the ceremonial distribution.
The farmer beneficiaries were very grateful that in times of calamities like these, the Local Government of Sto. Nino through the leadership of our beloved Mayor Atty. Vicente G. Pagurayan, our Vice Mayor and SB members are very supportive.
