In preparation of the upcoming Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) National Validation on September 03, 2024, the MLGOOs of the Southern Cagayan Cluster- Team 1 facilitated the mock interview and site visit in the Municipality of Santo Niño, Cagayan.
The facilitators conducted mock interview to all focal persons per area of assessment. This helps the LGU assess how well their officials and staff can articulate their achievements, answer questions, and present documentation. This process often reveals gaps in knowledge or presentation skills that can be addressed before the actual validation.
They also visited the different facilities of the municipal and barangay government to ensure that all physical facilities, infrastructure, and projects are in optimal condition. These visits help in identifying areas that need improvement or additional documentation to meet the stringent criteria of the SGLG.
This activity also helps the LGU identify and address potential weaknesses, refine documentation, enhance teamwork, and ultimately, increase the chances of passing the SGLG.
