The event, led by PNP-Sto. Niño and MSWDO, celebrated the vital role of women in all sectors and set an inspiring tone for a progressive future.

The colorful motorcade featured decorated vehicles and banners that highlighted women’s empowerment and achievements.

Sto. Niño, Cagayan – Sa unang batch ng Enero 2025, matagumpay na ipinamigay ng National Commission for Senior Citizens (NCSC) kasama ang MSWDO at Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs ng Sto. Niño, Cagayan, ang mga benepisyo alinsunod sa RA 11982. Ang pagtanggap ng payout ay para sa mga senior citizens na umaabot sa milestone ages na 80, 85, 90, at 95, kung saan bawat isa ay tumanggap ng ₱10,000. Samantala, ang mga centenarian (100 taong gulang) ay tatanggap ng ₱100,000.

Ang distribusyon ng benepisyo ay ginanap sa opisina ni Butihing Mayor Atty. Vicente G. Pagurayan at sinalihan din ito ng Hon. Vice Mayor Andrew Vincent R. Pagurayan at mga miyembro ng Sangguniang Bayan ng Sto. Niño. Ayon sa tala, mayroong 11 kwalipikadong beneficiaries sa unang batch ng buwan, kung saan:

3 mula sa Lubo

3 mula sa Centro Norte

1 mula sa Lattac

1 mula sa Tabang

1 mula sa Calapangan

1 mula sa Matalao

1 mula sa Niug Sur

Ang payout na ito ay bahagi ng unang taon ng implementasyon ng Expanded Centenarian Act ng 2024, na naglalayong kilalanin at pasalamatan ang mga matatanda sa kanilang mahahalagang kontribusyon sa komunidad.

Ang matagumpay na programa ay nagpapakita ng pangako ng lokal na pamahalaan at ng NCSC na patuloy na suportahan ang mga senior citizens sa pamamagitan ng makabuluhang mga benepisyo at serbisyo.

2025 FIRE PREVENTION MONTH KICK-OFF CEREMONY: Sa Pag-iwas sa Sunog, Hindi Ka Nag-iisa || March 5, 2025

The Sto. Niño Fire Station, under the leadership of SFO1 Marlo J. Arches, Caretaker successfully conducted Kick-Off Ceremony – Fire Prevention Month with a vibrant motorcade early this morning. The event, which made its way through the town center was a collaborative effort with active participation from the MDRRMO, PNP Sto. Niño, RHU, and Kabalikat Civicom.

The motorcade aimed to elevate public awareness and emphasized the importance of fire safety under the theme, “Sa Pag-iwas sa Sunog, Hindi Ka Nag-iisa” . This initiative highlights the communal effort required to prevent fires and keep the community safe.

Pinangunahan ng mga opisyal ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Sto. Niño ang pagdiriwang ng ika-pitong anibersaryo ng Dungao Integrated School ngayong araw. Ang okasyon ay ginanap sa Barangay Dungao at puno ng kasiyahan at makabayang mensahe mula sa mga mahahalagang panauhin.

Sa pangunahing pagtitipon, ibinahagi ni Engr. Haydee P. Catolos, Municipal Tourism Officer, ang kanyang mensahe ukol sa pinakamagandang proyekto ng paaralan – Project MUSEO (Masterpieces Unveiling the Story of Exhibited Objects), na inisyatibo ni Maam Eugene V. Panelo, Master Teacher I. Kanyang ibinahagi ang kasaysayan ng Barangay Dungao at nagbigay rin ng kaalaman hinggil sa Cultural Inventory Programa ng National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA).

Naghandog rin ng pasasalamat si Vice Mayor AV Roxas Pagurayan sa mga guro, estudyante, at magulang sa kanilang walang sawang suporta at dedikasyon sa edukasyon ng kabataan ng barangay.

Ganun din, nagbigay ng inspirasyonal na mensahe si Mayor Atty. Vicente G. Pagurayan para sa lahat ng dumalo, binigyang-diin ang kahalagahan ng ganitong mga proyekto para sa komunidad.

Pinangunahan ni Vice Mayor AV Pagurayan ang ribbon cutting para sa inauguration ng Project MUSEO ni Maam Eugene V. Panelo, Master Teacher I at ng Project NOURISH (Nurturing OUtstanding Reading Interest of Students in a Hub), na proyekto naman ni Maam Paz P. Piñera, Principal II. Ang mga proyektong ito ay naglalayong pagyamanin ang galing at interes ng mga mag-aaral sa sining at pagbasa.

Ang matagumpay na pagdiriwang ito ay patunay ng di-mapapantayang suporta ng lokal na pamahalaan sa pagpapaunlad ng edukasyon at pagkilala sa kulturang lokal. Ang proyektong MUSEO at NOURISH ay inaasahang magdadala ng mas maliwanag na kinabukasan para sa mga kabataan ng Barangay Dungao.

Ngayong araw, matagumpay na idinaos ang isang Civil Mass Wedding sa SB Session Hall na pinangasiwaan ng opisina ng Municipal Civil Registrar sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni MCR Engr. Haydee P. Catolos. Ang natatanging okasyong ito ay bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng ika-35 Civil Registration Month na may temang “Building a Resilient, Agile, and Future-first Civil Registration and Vital Statistics System.”

Sa pangunguna ng ating butihing Municipal Mayor Atty. Vicente G. Pagurayan, labing-apat (14) na masusuwerteng magkasintahan ang nanumpa ng kanilang mga pangako sa isa’t isa. Kasama rin sa pagdiriwang ang ating kagalang-galang na Municipal Vice Mayor AV Roxas Pagurayan at mga miyembro ng Sangguniang Bayan.

Ang aktibidad na ito ay hindi lamang sumisimbolo ng pag-iisang-dibdib kundi pati na rin ng pagsusulong ng isang mas matatag at handang sistema ng civil registration para sa kinabukasan.
