𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟬𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰

The Department of Social Welfare and Development through the Local Government of Santo Niño, Cagayan facilitated the Project LAWA at BINHI Cash-For-Training and Cash-for-Work Payout.

Project LAWA at BINHI, or the “Local Adaptation to Water Access and Breaking Insufficiency through

Nutritious Harvest for the Impoverished,” is a proactive intervention and sustainable solution addressing food insecurity and water scarcity due to climate change.

The said payout was attended by the Municipal Vice Mayor AV Roxas Pagurayan who emphasized that the said project is beneficial in reducing economic vulnerability by ensuring food security and water sufficiency in the municipality.

Beneficiaries from Calapangan, Abariongan Uneg, Calassitan, Abariongan Ruar, Namuccayan, Balagan, Tamucco, Mapitac, Balanni and Lipatan received financial assistance amounting to P8,400.00 through Cash-for-Training and Cash-for-Work.
